Inspiration is Art

Whenever I create my art I either have an idea in mind and go looking for inspiration pictures, or I specifically look for nails pertaining to the style I am aiming to recreate. There are a few choice moments however, when I see a photo of something random and the nail set immediately makes itself known to me. These examples are two of my proudest art pieces so far this season, (I'm already making more so my favorites might change soon!) so please enjoy some nailfies and check out my inspiration photos for these pieces! Both sets are available on my shop!

I've Got My Heart in the Clouds

I scroll Pinterest often because it's great for inspiration, motivation, and downright beautiful photos! Honestly, I can't even tell if this photo is an AI rendition or not, but I knew immediately I wanted to create a 3D cloud set. Anyone who knows my work knows I'm obsessed with the sky, so of my course my set incorporates my favorite purple/blue thermal color changing polish that perfectly matches the changing of the day!

A Bouquet of Peonies

This is another photo that spoke to my artistic heart once I saw it. The red and the pink together is so satisfying to see, and I knew that one of the colors of flowers would be the base, and the other would be the color of the actual flowers. I ultimately decided on a red base with pink flowers, and then began the search for my inspo for 3D Peonies... to no luck! No one had ever, in the history of 3D flowers made peony nails (and posted them!) so I was left to figure out how to make the peonies from acrylic on my own. It took an entire day of thinking and watching artists paint peonies to help me with my creation. I can proudly tell you that I did in fact create a Peony I was in love with, and then it took me 2 days to make enough for this set! It was well worth it and very rewarding and it absolutely is an exhibition for your fingers. Each flower is unique and I spent an exorbitant amount of time staring at them! Please enjoy these photos!- Renee <3
